Moore & Tibbits attend Landlord Forum as Key Renters’ Rights Changes Take Effect from 1 May
Warwick District Council in partnership with the local Landlord Steering Group (LSG) and the National Residential Landlords Association Landlord Forum, is holding its spring 2026 Landlord Forum in Leamington Spa on Wednesday 13 May 2026, 12:30pm to 4pm at The SYDNI Centre, Cottage Square, Sydenham, Leamington Spa CV31 1PT.
This is billed by Warwick District Council as the “premier free local event for private landlords, letting agents and others involved in letting property in the private rented sector.”
With key elements of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 due to take effect from 1 May 2026, landlords across the UK are being encouraged to familiarise themselves with the new requirements and seek advice where necessary.
Exhibitions from local specialist companies will cover aspects of property management and support organisations will help smooth the tenancy pathway. Presentations include a number of helpful bite-size talks covering a range of topics and recent policy and legislation changes, including the introduction of the Renters' Rights Act. Delegates are able to network with other professionals, and a range of experts will be on hand to answer questions.
Seats are limited to first come, first served so register in advance now to secure your ticket. There is free car parking on site and a buffet at 12:30pm is provided (first come, first served).
Moore & Tibbits’ Dispute Resolution team will be attending this event offering support and guidance to landlords, letting agents, and others within the private rented sector.
Our Dispute Resolution team know only too well that even well-meaning landlords may find themselves facing difficulties and possibly even fines under the new regime if they are unaware of how the new rules apply in practice and will be available to support landlords as these changes take effect, whether its clarifying new legal responsibilities, advising on tenancy issues or assisting with emerging disputes, the team is ready to provide clear, practical guidance.
Early advice can often prevent issues from escalating, saving time, cost, and stress. Landlords with questions about how the new rules affect their properties or tenancies are encouraged to seek support promptly.
