Equality and Diversity Policy
Moore & Tibbits is committed to ensuring the elimination of discrimination and the promotion of equality and diversity in all our professional dealings. This means that all Clients, Directors, Staff, other Solicitors, Barristers and third parties will receive equal treatment regardless of their sex (including pregnancy, maternity and paternity), marital or civil partnership status, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, race or racial group (including colour, nationality and ethnic or national origins), religion or belief, age (or perceived age) caring responsibility or disability (past or present).
In accordance with the requirements of the SRA (Solicitors’ Regulation Authority) everyone working at the practice has had an opportunity to complete a survey in order to monitor the current diversity data.
Out of 67 Directors, employees and Consultants, we received 27 responses; received from 1 Director; 6 Solicitors; 3 undertaking another fee earner role; 14 directly supporting a fee earner; 1 from a managerial role and 2 from an IT/HR role.
The survey covered the following areas: age, gender identity; disability; day-to-day limitations; ethnicity; religion or belief; sexual orientation; school type from ages 11 to 16; parents' university attendance, occupation of parental main earner, primary care for children under 18 years and time spent providing unpaid care for those with long term physical or mental ill health caused by disability or age.
Should you wish to see this data in detail, or to be provided with a copy of our Equality and Diversity Policy please contact the Office Manager, Wendy Lord by e-mail: WLord@moore-tibbits.co.uk
