Congratulations to our Newly Qualified Solicitor, Sevcan!!!
Huge congratulations to Sevcan Sahin who has now completed her training contract with us and is now a Newly Qualified Solicitor!
Sevcan studied law at the Anglia Ruskin University and completed the Legal Practice course at BPP Law School before joining Moore & Tibbits in 2021. Sevcan’s training seats included commercial property, dispute resolution and the Court of Protection team.
Sevcan says “My training provided me with a valuable insight into specialist areas, not only in relation to laws and procedures but also the importance of client care. I have learnt more than I ever imagined during my training contract and would like to thank each supervisor in my seats for their continued support and invaluable training.”
Reflecting on her training contract with the firm, Sevcan has these words of advice for fellow trainees: “Make the most of each seat – ask questions regularly, step outside of your comfort zone and take on tasks you do not necessarily feel comfortable with. Seek feedback from your supervisor and most importantly, enjoy the variety of training from the different seats”.
Sevcan starts her career as a Newly Qualified Solicitor in the Court of Protection Health and Welfare team. Her transition to a fully qualified solicitor signifies her commitment to assisting individuals facing complex legal issues and ensuring they have access to the necessary support. Sevcan has always had a passion to work with vulnerable people, from volunteering with various charities who support young disabled children within the care system to now working within the Court of Protection team.
We are absolutely delighted to have Sevcan join the Court of Protection Health and Welfare team. As a firm we are committed to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for professional development. Sevcan is already a huge asset to the team.
The team specialises in providing legal services and support for individuals lacking mental capacity to make decisions for themselves, focusing on ensuring their clients receive appropriate living arrangements and support tailored to their assessed needs.
