Tim Ollerenshaw cycling over 200 miles for Molly Ollys
Tim Ollerenshaw, Director in the Business team at Moore & Tibbits is cycling over 200 miles from Brighton to Warwick to raise vital funds for Molly Ollys, a charity which Tim and his wife Rachel set up after their daughter Molly aged 8 very sadly died from a rare cancer.
Molly Ollys supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to help with their emotional wellbeing. Created in 2012, the charity provides gifts to individuals and donate therapeutic toys and books to children directly and also to hospitals throughout the UK.
To continue to raise vital funds for the charity and to help other children like Molly, Tim will be donning his pink lycra (and padding!) together with some trusty comrades on the 6th September, cycling through Sussex, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire ending up at the Durham Ox pub in Warwickshire on the 8th September.
With a slightly battered body, Tim doesn’t let anything hold him back and is all set for this huge challenge in honour of his daughter, Molly and to help all those children and families facing traumatic times in their lives.
It’s a long haul for an unaccomplished cyclist, but with a new bike, new internal plumbing for my heart, new knees and a cataract removed, I will be Steve Austin ready to help raise money for children facing much tougher challenges.
