Paralegal

I am a Paralegal in the Court of Protection team, specialising in health and welfare work.  I completed by LLB Law (Hons) at the University of Liverpool in 2023 and joined Moore & Tibbits in October 2023.

My main role is providing assistance and support to the Court of Protection solicitors with health and welfare matters such as:

  • Health and welfare applications under Section 21A and Section 16 of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Community care and Care Act 2014 matters
  • Matters under the Inherent Jurisdiction of the High Court
  • Forced marriages
  • Matters which involve medical treatment

I regularly liaise with vulnerable individuals and their families, the Official Solicitor as well as representatives from local authorities, ICB’s and NHS Trusts when helping to progress matters in the best interests of our clients.

Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym and socialising with my friends and family.

I am also conversational in Punjabi.
