Rebecca is a Legal Assistant in the Court of Protection team, joining Moore & Tibbits in 2016, having previously worked as a secretary for the local Integrated Care Board.

Rebecca's experience working within the health and social care sector has been built upon in her role in the Court of Protection team.

Supporting clients whose family members have lost capacity, Rebecca will deal with the formalities of making an application to the Court of Protection to enable a Deputy to be appointed to manage the person's property and financial affairs.

Rebecca assists the team with:

• Applications to the Court of Protection
• Daily management of client funds which includes entitlement to benefits, managing personal budgets, liaising with financial advisors
• Arranging property insurance and dealing with the purchase and sale of properties and any other matters in relation to this
• Providing advice and frequent contact with the client/their family and maintaining long term relationships

Rebecca has always had a passion to ensure that those who are often the most vulnerable in our society have their voices heard and prides herself on supporting our clients with compassion, sensitivity and dignity.
