We will:  

  • Provide a consultation to go through the checklist process providing guidance in relation to eligibility and top tips.  

This service will help you prepare for the checklist completion.

£350 + VAT

We will:

  • Meet personally with you to collate information;
  • Review all available records;
  • Discuss the person’s needs with care staff;
  • Highlight any pertinent areas within the care records which may need expanding or updating in terms of evidence; and
  • Provide advice on the prospects of eligibility and a full and detailed report.

£1200 + VAT

We will:

  • Provide representation at a DST;
  • Ensure the process is followed in accordance with the National Framework and Practice Guidance; and
  • Ensure an accurate and full portrayal of care needs are discussed.

£500 + VAT

If a review and consultation is needed before representation at the DST, Option 2 and 3 will apply and our combined fee will be £1700 + VAT

We will:

  • Provide a one- hour consultation to include reviewing the current DST and providing guidance on next steps.

£250+VAT

If it appears there have been a change in circumstances which may result in a further DST being instigated, we will:

  • Review available records and liaise with professionals where appropriate;
  • Provide a report detailing the care needs set out under the care domains and highlighting specific areas which may be in dispute at the assessment; and
  • Attend the DST

£1500+ VAT.  

We will:

  • Discuss the process and steps of an appeal;
  • Determine sufficient grounds for the appeal by analysing the DST which is being appealed and where appropriate considering previous DSTs;
  • Meet the person and review care records to collate evidence in support of the appeal;
  • Provide you with a full appeal report, setting out strengths and weaknesses and likelihood of success;
  • Liaise with the ICB to provide formal notification and submission of grounds of appeal;
  • Attend local resolution meeting to discuss the appeal;
  • Carry out a detailed review of the ICB’s written response to the appeal ( the needs portrayal) and if appropriate put forward further written responses to challenge findings; 
  • Upon notification of a successful outcome, we will contact the ICB to recover outstanding care fees that are due together with interest.
  • In the unlikely event that the appeal is unsuccessful, we will advise on next steps regarding an appeal to NHS England.
